Kawaihae Long Distance 9 miles

Long Distance race in Kawaihae. Koa, Unlimited, Fiberglass classes. Men’s, Mixed and Women’s Teams.

Coaches Meeting: 8:00 am.

Women’s Start: 8:30 am

Mens/Mix Start: 15 minutes post Women’s last finishing canoe

Lunch for race participants.

Face coverings should be worn in a crowded setting (i.e., areas with more than 10 persons and where six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.)

Volunteers and officials should be masked when in close proximity of others.

Sanitization and disinfections stations will be available.

Coaches meeting will be one (1) steersperson per crew and a coach, NO ONE ELSE. Please observe social distancing at this time.

NO SPECTATORS within CLUB AREAS (individual club areas, Kawaihae Canoe Club areas, etc.)

Each club will be responsible for keeping track of participation/attendees in case a list is needed for contact tracing.

All online registration paperwork will be collected the morning prior to the race. Please have one representative bring all entry documents to BE COLLECTED BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF KAWAIHAE CANOE CLUB.
